Greenshine New Energy Gives Back to the Navajo in Dire TimesPosted by Stephen Shickadance in Industry News.In an act of selflessness, Greenshine New Energy, the company known mostly for its solar street lighting, has given back to the Navajo Nation in times of dire need. The Construction in Indian County (CIIC) informed Greenshine of how hard hit the Navajo Nation was and reached out to surrounding areas of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico for help. Food and supplies were scarce, and so Greenshine answered the call to help. The CIIC began a donation drive to collect supplies and food to donate out to communities that were the hardest hit. They connected with the Navajo Housing Authority to centralize donations where they would be sent out to people that needed supplies the most. "Greenshine saw that one of our First Peoples communities was in desperate need of some of the most basic supplies to survive," In the nick of time, Greenshine's team arrived on the site with a literal truckload of supplies to hand off to those in need. Greenshine is happy to be a part of the surrounding communities to give back when times are uncertain. Thanks to an awesome team that answers the higher call!
